Invetech honoured at the 2011 Governor of Victoria Export Awards

Invetech, an innovator in new product development and custom automation for the biomedical, industrial and consumer markets, has been awarded a prestigious 2011 Governor of Victoria Export Award for its export success.

In front of a gathering of over 500 people at a gala ceremony at Government House, Invetech was recognised for its success in developing breakthrough products that lead the way in global technology and, as an outstanding example of how Victoria’s highly educated and skilled workforce combine innovative thinking and expertise to create products that are truly breakthrough.

Minister for Manufacturing, Exports and Trade Richard Dalla-Riva said Invetech’s success had not occurred overnight or by chance.

“Invetech’s success has been a collaborative story, including support from the previous Brumby and Bracks Governments. The Coalition is committed to ensuring that, regardless of partisan politics, Victoria’s business and manufacturing industries are fully supported and encouraged to innovate, export, and employ,” Mr Dalla-Riva said.

As a winner of the Victorian award Invetech becomes a national finalist in the 49th Australian Export Awards, one of the longest running business awards programs in Australia. The Awards will be co-presented by Austrade and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in December.
