Recruitment Process

We strive to create a recruitment process that is ethical, clear and transparent. Our approach ensures you understand the status of your application and what is expected of you throughout all stages of the Recruitment Process.

Application and Screening

Once making an online application via our Career Opportunities page in response to a specific vacancy or as a general expression of interest, you will receive an automated response advising you that your application has been received.

If your application meets our criteria, you will be contacted for a brief telephone screening. This is an informal discussion enabling us to better understand your motivations, competencies and career aspirations. If your expression of interest has not been successful you will receive an email communicating this.

Interviews

If you have been successful at the application stage, you will be invited in for an interview with the recruitment consultant and the hiring manager. This interview will comprise both behavioral- based and technical questions. We recommend you plan for this interview by preparing some real-life scenarios that will enable us to assess your key competencies. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions to better understand the opportunities available within Invetech.

At Invetech we conduct a standard two-interview process. The focal point of the second interview is your technical skill set. This will be with one or two more senior members of the respective group. This gives you the opportunity to meet your prospective colleagues and ask further questions if required.

Assessments

As part of our process, you will be asked to undertake a Personality Questionnaire and, in most cases, an abilities assessment. Further information and practice tests can be found on SHLDirect.

To complete the full assessment you should allow 3 hours.

Reference Checks

Invetech requires at minimum two work related referees to be provided to the recruitment consultant to obtain a verbal account of your work and related performance.

Offer

If successful, a verbal offer of employment will be made. Upon acceptance a formal contract, along with important information about working at Invetech, will be sent out to you.

We endeavor to personalise this process as much as possible. If you have been unsuccessful throughout any part of the process you will be contacted personally. If however you are not contactable, you will be notified via email.
