Privacy and Personal Information
Leica Biosystems and Invetech are divisions of Leica Microsystems, which is part of the Danaher Corporation. All divions, across all locations, are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals’ personal information. We understand that privacy in the recruitment process is paramount. Our Privacy Policy details how we handle personal information supplied to us.
Information Collected and Used
The personal information collected is received by what information you enter into the site. This may represent a wide range of information. For example, when you register, we will collect information from you such as your name, phone number, salary, qualifications and employment history.
We will also store: any reference about you; results of inquiries that we might make of your former employers, work colleagues, professional associations or registration body; and, results of any competency or medical tests.

- In the instance where there you have not been successful in the position applied for and there is another available, we will get your consent before passing the information on; or

- From time to time we may engage or employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Such parties will have access to only that personal information required by them to perform their functions, and may not use such information for any other purposes.
- Where required by Law; in certain circumstances we may be required by law to disclose your personal information, for example to law enforcement agencies.
Security
An important aspect of the security of your personal information is the password protection system. You must keep your password secure and take care not to disclose it to any third parties. Although we will take care to ensure that maximum security for your personal information, you are ultimately solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your username and passwords.
